Jesse Spatt

After completing a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at Monash University in 2003, Jesse commenced his legal career at TressCox Lawyers. During his time at TressCox, Jesse developed core skills in various aspects of commercial law, including corporate structuring and property transactions and planning.

Prior to establishing Medley Property Group, Jesse joined Ray White Invest initially as a property analyst and then as a manager of various wholesale and retail property trusts. In this role, Jesse was responsible

for the day to day management of the trusts, including the acquisition and disposal of trust assets, arranging senior debt requirements, managing and coordinating due diligence, planning, development works and leasing.

Jesse is a Director of Medley Property Group and his legal and development management background provides him with an excellent skill set to draw from in the active management and strategic outlook of direct property investment and development.

Simon McDonald

Simon completed a Bachelor of Commerce (economics / finance) and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at Monash University in 2002.

After completing his tertiary studies, Simon worked with the Victorian Government Department of Treasury and Finance in the Commercial Division. In this position, Simon specialised in risk management for high risk/large capital expenditure infrastructure projects ($50m plus). This position involved strategic assessment, business case analysis, procurement options development and analysis of active projects.

Simon then joined Ray White Invest as the general manager of Ray White Invest Private. In that role Simon provided financial analysis and development management for residential, commercial and industrial developments.

Simon is a Director of Medley Property Group and provides development management services. Simon combines strong technical and financial expertise with practical project management abilities.

Wally Cockram

Wally completed a Bachelor of Commerce (economics / finance) at Melbourne University in 1997.

After completion of his degree, Wally joined the fitout company, Cockram Interiors, which worked on many of Melbourne’s’ biggest commercial projects. Past projects include Federation Square; Melbourne Museum; Melbourne Exhibition Centre; Melbourne Convention Centre and Crown Casino. Wally became managing director of Cockram Interiors in 2000 and was responsible for the day to day running of all projects.

In 2008, Wally established Cod Build which has since grown to be a multi-faceted company specialising in commercial and residential projects. Wally continues to manage the operations of Cod Build.

Wally is a Director of Medley Property Group. He is a registered commercial and domestic builder and combines onsite construction knowledge with practical management skills.

Graeme Ellen
Chief Financial Officer

Graeme brings over 30 years of accounting and finance experience, having completed a Bachelor of Business in Accountancy while working full time at Deloitte (formerly Duesburys). During this time Graeme was admitted as an Associate member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants (1991) and remains a member of the Institute.

After 14 years at Deloitte, Graeme became the Chief Financial Officer of a privately owned national transport company. In this role, Graeme was responsible all financial aspects of the business, including corporate governance. During this time, Graeme oversaw the

planning, costing and financing of the development and construction of a 40 acre green field site into warehouse, container park and distribution facility.

Prior to joining Medley, Graeme was the Chief Financial Officer for a private family office, which had broad portfolio of investments, including large property holdings. Graeme’s methodical nature, coupled with his sound knowledge in business and finance are integral to Medley’s successful growth.
